If what you say is true, which its not, but lets just say your right, and use your logic.
Obama said that Bush’s deficit spending was unsustainable, and than he (Obama) goes on to spend 5 times the amount of the Bush deficit. How does that make any sense?
Look at the video below, it’s only 50 sec. long. Bush deficit is gray Obamas is red.

    Meanwhile in the real world..
While there was a Republican majority we reached record economic highs..
Under Obama we’re seeing record job losses and deficit spending.
    But hey.. thanks for playing.

We are not in a depression, YET. Who knows when and if we will recover from this recession. Sorry to burst your bubble but most economists were against the stimulus plan and are against the Obama administrations knack of spending. Most economists said the economy was going to recover on it’s own BEFORE the stimulus. Now we have an unsustainable debt that will be worst felt years from now. A major factor in this recession is fallout from the Clinton administration’s sub-prime mortgage policies. Bush did not help the mess either, but now Obama has left us with UNPRECEDENTED debt. Under Obama the deficit has quadrupled. Our debt under Obama thus far is expected to double in 2 years and triple in 3 years. So honestly, at this point I am trying not to worry about this recession (although over 8,000 state jobs alone in NY were lost despite the democratic “stimulus”) I am just hoping that our economy doesn’t collapse.

I wasn’t aware we were ever in a depression? I don’t think you have heard Mr BHO say that? Wake up and smell the coffee!!
    Recession, Yes…Depression..NO!

The depression that Republicans feel is the result of the current administration’s mishandling of our economy, national defense, budgets and healthcare.
While this depression is completely understandable it will likely start to lift after the 2010 elections when sanity is restored to the government process and Obama and Biden are impeached.

I suppose what California is going trough is The Governator’s fault? Are their problems the result of Arnold warning them for the last six years that they were spending too much?
Did ANYONE EVER get into financial trouble by not spending enough?
Socialism will have no problem running roughshod over YOUR life.

The wealthiest most accomplished people have met in secret. I saw it on tv & you could tell it was not a secret they wanted to keep from us but they didn’t want to be distracted. They showed Gates, Buffet, Winfrey, Ted Turner & many, many more billionaires, Obama supporters. So have faith, see what is possible. We are going to be Ok these people know how to go from rags to riches. We are going to be OK, I wish Oprah would just bribe the lower class republicans to come to her show which she can do with a free weekend somewhere & just have the best communicators show them the logic behind what they are told by the right wing media. Actually, the could show them the lack of logic & how they are being tricked & it ruins the country. So be patient & be positive things are going to get better fast.

    1. We need to pay down, or pay off our debt to China as soon as possible. This will take a minimum of 10-15 years
    2. We need to bolster up our economy to stop the hemorrage of jobs. This will take minimum of 1 year
    3. We need to have enough confidence in our economy so we feel comfortable making purchases. We are nearly there now.

Oh yea he really has some good economists on his team. They cant even pay their taxes. Spending trillions of dollars is only putting us deeper in the hole and if I recall right it was the dems in control of the house and Senate when this mess started.

yeah, okay. It would have been about a decade but since Obama has spent more money we don’t have in 5 months than that idiot Bush did in 8 years….well, we may never recover!

If a Republican depression ever happens, we’ll let you know.
According to Obama, SPENDING is the root of the problem and our only hope is to do more of it than ever before seen in all of human history. Earlier he said not only did he KNOW his plans would be harmful to the economy, but he thought the economy probably would not be able to “withstand” (his word) the impact of his programs.
According to Obama, DEBT is a major factor and he’s deliberately multiplying the debt.

You are blind if you think this problem has just recently been in the making and that only one party is to blame.
Take off your party loyalist glasses and look around
