fishing , swimming, water skiing, just floating around in my boat.
Hang out with friends and family at video game stores,mall,or in each others’ house.
The three M’s the mall, movies, and my house. Basically anything air-conditioned.
I like to go to the Napoleon House in the afternoon, sit at one of the doorway tables, and watch people while having something cold to drink. It’s also great to be there during a PM thunderstorm, with the rain just pouring down only a few feet away.
Molly’s at the Market also - and have a frozen Irish coffee while sitting at the (one) doorway table.
The zoo in the morning with lunch at the swamp exhibit restaurant (which is air conditioned). Then to Barnes & Noble or Borders (usually the ones in Metairie) to hang out in the bookstore and have a late dessert in the cafe.
Maybe lunch and a movie at the Clearview Mall (or the Palace in Elmwood).
As you can tell, food & drink and air conditioning or at least shade are common themes.
Swim, the beach, fish, and go tubing down the river
