Before you submit your site, here is a checklist of what you will need. 1. Make sure to have everything in a file ready to cut and paste when you get there. You can use your notebook or any other text file you like. 2. Have your keywords ready. Make a list of 15-20 keywords with the most important ones listed first since some search engines allow less than others. 3. Write descriptions of your web site and be sure to include your keywords. Have descriptions ready from 15 words to 50 words. 4. Have a list of the URL’s you’re going to post to so can just cut and paste them into your browser to get to them quickly. 5. Have your contact information ready: Name: address: city, state, zip: country: phone: URL’s: email: 11. Make a file for each search engine, that you submit to. Be sure to include all of the following information: a. URL and Name of Site b. The description you used on the site and the category you submitted to. c. Keywords used d. If a reciprocal link is required put the HTML code for it in the file. e. Description of the site f. URL of your listing g. Date verified that your listing was posted. h.
