Write Your Way to the Top!"Write to the Top!"I know, some of you are saying, "I don't know anything to write about" or "I'm not a writer," but in fact anyone can gain exposure through article writing. First, we all have some area of expertise. I write articles about marketing, because I know a lot about marketing. You can write articles about anything, building a website, fixing a car, shopping for the best bargin or finding free stuff on the internet. Everyone has knowledge that others do not. Identify what your special knowledge is and create an article that shares it. Second, you do not have to be a "writer" to write good articles. Just write how you speak. Keep it simple (most writing tutorials suggest writing for an 8th grade audience). If you don't feel comfortable writing long paragraphs, create bulleted lists. Create a list of links where your audience can find more information or resources. When you are finished, read it out loud, if it doesn't flow well or if you stumble over long sentences or words, rewrite it. Make sure you run a spell check program AND have someone read it over. Spell checkers will not pick up all gramatical errors. Finally, at the end of the article create a resource box. Give your name, email, URL, and advertise a product or service.
