An e-mom and I love being one? Why, you ask? I can take care of my young 'uns even when i'm in the process of assessing my sales tracking techniques. It's a tough spot to be. Being an e-mom is not as glamorous as it sounds. It's hard. You may be there with your kids but mentally...you're not. You shush your kids more often than you ask them if they're alright or if they wanted a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows on top. Like the way, you used to do for them when you were'nt online. Like other things, there are advantages and disadvantages when working at home or online, whichever is the case. ********* Tip#1 : Do not be virtual to your kids! ********* This is one thing that you should be careful when you're working online and at home. Do not forget that your kids are one of the inspiration for you to go get that internet millions. ********* Tip#2 : Set a time table every day for work and for play ********* As the old adage goes, "All work and no play makes Jill a dull girl!" It is quite true. You lose all humor when you're trying soo hard to create that perfect website that will drive people crazy not to buy. It's important to schedule your time so that you don't lose quality time with your family. What I do is this. 9-12 - Online Work. 12-1 - Eat out. 1-4 - Online Work. 4-8 - Go out and see a fancy movie with family or just plain go out of the house. Eat dinner out or prepare at home. (I can afford to take my family to lunch and dinner anywhere, everyday. Thanks to online working!) 8-10 - Do online work. ** That's basically what you need to take mental note of!
