CertaintyIn a recent coaching conversation I was having with a bright young client he asked me what I thought was the single most important thing to get across to a practice member when explaining chiropractic to them. I thought about it for a moment and answered CERTAINTY! He was puzzled by my response so I rounded out the conversation for him. This was such a pivotal conversation for him that I decided to share it with some of my other coaching clients. It also moved them to higher levels of practice and life success so I decided I would share it with you, my dear readers of the Chiropractic Excellence Newsletter. The nature of this conversation we are going to have is thought provoking and occasionally controversial and for that I am HAPPY !! I have rarely adhered to the "status quo" in my life and I am sure that is one of the reasons I am so content and fulfilled in my life. IF some of the thoughts I am going to share with you in the coming articles make you think and question what you know or believe to be true then ..... I will have been successful in my quest. For out of that introspection will come greater CERTAINTY and even greater life and practice success and fulfillment. I hope you enjoy the next few newsletters as much as I did writing them. Here we go. CERTAINTY The more certainty you practice with the more conviction you have in your communication with each and every practice member you interact with. People are attracted to conviction. They may or may not agree with you on every point (who the heck cares anyway) but they will respect you and they will listen if you at least stand up and be counted and speak from your heart with conviction. Why do you think testimonials are so powerful gang? They are powerful because they are real life examples of the miracles you perform everyday in your practices and THEY HAPPENED TO YOU !!! They help you remember what you unconsciously know is true. That you are a gifted and powerful chiropractic healer who has the power in his/her hands, head and heart to act as a catalyst to ignite the most amazing healing power known in the Universe. The power of the person's Innate Intelligence to heal them of any disease known to mankind! Certainty helps you walk taller speak more clearly and with more conviction. It turns your internal "attraction" light on really bright whether you are aware of it or not. The phone starts ringing off of the wall and you start ending each day with at least 5-15 more practice member visits then were on the book when you started the day. You appear mystified because "you aren't doing anything different." That is what I want all of us to get out of this discussion we are going to have. MORE CERTAINTY! Out of the discussion you will either initially have more strength and support for your convictions or you may have the anchors pulled out from underneath your convictions. Either way I will rejoice with you because in the long run both of these positions lead to the same place. Greater understanding, certainty and conviction in who you are, what you do and most importantly WHY YOU DO WHAT YOU DO!!! Until next time ...... Consciously creatin my life in my ideal!
