Five marketing myths you will see on the internet.#1 Join free and sit back and relax, we do the work for you. Nothing could be further from the truth. All these places want is to get you hooked and then they start showing you how you would benefit by becoming a paid member. By now they have your address and they keep trying to get you to upgrade. #2 Do you want to make $80,000 in the next 3 month's? Don't fall for this, because it will not happen. Someone like Terry Dean and a few others might be able to pull this off but most of us will not see this happen. #3 If you put up a web site people will come. Another myth. If you have a web site out there in space, no one will know that it is there unless you promote it anywhere and everywhere. Those that make web sites and do not promote will never see any traffic. #4 Get listed on the top search engines and your work is over. Another myth, you must always keep improving your site and if you slip down out of the first ten listings you must re-submit and try to keep your site in the first ten listings. #5 Join and retire within one year. Another myth. If you work hard and put in enough hours you can make some good money on the internet. Don't plan on retiring in one year. I have been marketing for 5 years and although I make some good money, if I wasn't already retired due to my age I couldn't retire on what I make. If the cards fall in place it might be possible, but don't bet the farm on it.In summary I need to say, there are some very good programs on the internet. Just be careful what you pay your hard earned money for. Look the site over good, do they list their name and address in easy reach, if not be cautious.
