"Information Overload"After being on the internet for six years, I have subscribed to hundreds of ezines.I have purchased a lot of information ebooks, some good and a lot worthless. Some were nothing more than pages of sales letters. We all need constant information to help us survive with internet marketing. You can also have information overload. Here is what I am talking about with information overload. Reading ever bit of information you can find, will get you so mixed up you do not know which way to jump. Here is what I am saying here. One newsletter article, say's don't worry about getting listed on search engines, because it is too time consuming. The next newsletter you read say's you must get a top listing on the top four or five search engines, because that is where 90% of your traffic will come from. One newsletter, or ebook say's, banner advertising is a good way to get traffic. The next one say's banner advertising is dead, so don't waste your time with that. One article tells us, using classified's is worthless, as no one reads them anymore. The next, say's you can make a fortune by using classified to advertise. Here is what I do, or at least I did before I was accused of using spam, (that I have never used) by someone using my article. I now have some sites on search engines that no longer exist. But that is another story, and we are coming back. Take a look at what we are doing. http://www.marketingnewsnewsletter.com Now here is what I was doing, and am starting to do again. I try to use a little from each bit of information I receive. First: I take one or two hours every two weeks and I hand submit my sites to search engines. Some I cannot list to anymore as they charge now. I still list to the ones that are still free. I put the date I hand submitted on a paper, and stick it up where I will see it often, so I remember when to do it again. I use yahoo classifieds, and I use AOL classifieds. I also list to a lot of the free ones as well. You will get some traffic this way. I place ads on a lot of ezines, or newsletters, whatever you want to call them. I try to use mostly free, but sometimes I will pay. This is probably best for getting traffic, if you get your ad to the proper group. I also use a signature ad on all of our outgoing emails. You may think this is no help, but it does help in a small way. A customer is a customer, no matter how he found your site. We have also, just added a forum where marketing questions can be put on the board, and they can receive answers to help them with their marketing. We do not have it going very well yet, as it is new and will need to be advertised just like a web site. Please join in: http://network54.com/Forum/108588 So this is how you can overcome information overload. Use your common sense and take some information from each article. If you believe every article, it will just confuse you. We hope this article helps you in some small way, with your marketing efforts. God go with you!

Problems Adding RSS Feeds To My Yahoo – Feedburner Solution In the last few weeks, adding feeds to My Yahoo has been next to impossible. Here’s a solution that worked for me with a feedburner feed.
