SHOWING YOUR HONESTY ON THE INTERNET!In the brick and mortar world, you meet someone and after talking, and watching their expressions you get a feeling of their honesty. On the Internet, you have no way to do this. You must make your mind up after looking at their ad, and their web site. Here are some of the things I look for. "I was broke a month ago and now I have no money worries at all". Ads like this almost make me vomit! I do not know why anyone would try to use an ad like this. They must think everyone is a fool. Web sites can tell a lot about the person trying to get you to make a purchase. Nowhere on the site can you find a name, city, phone number or email address. This should set off an alarm in your head. They do not want to talk to you, all they want is your hard earned dollars. When I build a web site, I try to be certain my name, street address, city, state, phone number, and email address is on every page of the web site. Sometimes I also put my picture on them. I don't know if this helps or not, but it can't hurt. Another thing I believe in doing, is making a long time guarantee. Most of my sales web sites have a 365 day guarantee. If someone is not satisfied with what they purchase at my site, then I don't want them stuck with it. I wish that there was a better way of showing honesty on the Internet, but I don't know what it is. If anyone does I would like to hear about it. God go with you!
