Spam Cop The Destroyer!

I don't know how many of you know about spam cop, I will tell you what I know.

First off it is I guess a program to rid the internet of spam.

The problem with it, if the person using it is carless with it, it will cause a lot of harm to someone who is completely innocent.

Here is what happens, I can tell you from experience. Someone uses your article and uses it in their newsletter. It goes out to someone using spam cop.

Knowing that this person is not one of your subscribers, it takes your name and url from your bio and notifies spam cop that you are spamming this person.

This may be a good program if used properly, but if it is not programmed properly, look out.

It does not even need to be your article, if you have an ad in someones ezine it can get you that way.

There is no dought, that spam is running wild on the internet. Some people are out to stop it at all costs.

I said in one of my newsletters back in 2000 that something would be done about the use of spam during 2001, but never dreamed it would be this way.

If this continues, it could destroy the way we market on the internet.

It has already done that for me. Being accused of using spam by someone using one of my articles was the last straw for me.

I have shut down six years of marketing, by five web sites being removed. I have enough problems without fighting this one as well.

I am telling you this, not for your pity, but to help you be prepared to fight for your rights.

I am sure before long the way this is going, you will be doing just that.
