Subscribing To An OptIn List!Has anyone been misled about subscribing to an optin list? Most people know that when they subscribe to a newsletter or any thing else, that occasionally you will receive other offers. Most of us who publish newsletters spend hours trying to get the article just right, editing all the ads we receive and a hundred other things. Sending solo ads or whatever is our only way of making any money for all those hours. Some people must think we do this just because it is fun. Don't misunderstand all of us who write and publish our newsletters have some great subscribers who put up with our ramblings. However we also have some of the other kind also. They are what prompted this article. Every time I send out my newsletter, I receive three or four unsubscribers. They don't fool anyone, we know why they unsubscribe. When they see their ad posted, it's time for them to unsubscribe and then a week or two later they subscribe again to get their free ad again. I think most of us have ways to keep them from subscribing again, however I do not use it as I am hoping that one time they will stay. I also notice, when I send out a solo ad the same thing happens. Three or four unsubscribers. I am subscribed to over 100 newsletters, and I receive an average of ten or fifteen solo ads a day. I do not unsubscribe, if it is something I am not interested in, I hit delete. No big deal. I have a very hard time understanding why some people think we are only here to serve them. They need to get a life. Now I may get more unsubscribers with this article, if so I say good riddance. I am getting very tired of walking on eggs trying to please everyone. Those of you that have stayed with us from the time you subscribed are the people we hope to have as subscribers. To you we say, God Bless You!
