You Have Just Made A Sale!A very short sentence, but one that every marketer is hoping to find in their email box every day.What a joy, after working long hours at your computer making web pages building ads and hoping they work. Finally along comes that short sentence and you breathe a sigh of relief and tell yourself I finally made it. After all those long hours on the computer and away from your family, you decide to take a couple of days off and spend the time with your family. Upon returning to your computer and opening your email you can't believe what you are seeing. After only two days of not promoting your site with your ads, the sales are just a trickle. Welcome to the real world of internet marketing. There are only a couple of ways I know of to not have this happen. One way is to have a web site with a members only section that everyone pays a monthly fee for being there. The other way is to have an army of affiliates doing the advertising for your site. There may be other ways that I have not thought of. It may be if you have a famous newsletter that you could charge monthly for it. The reality of it is, if you are a small work at home marketer you must advertise daily. I notice if I take time away from my advertising to build a new site, write this newsletter or any other reason my sales start falling off. It is very hard to discipline yourself to do this daily. However if you want sales, you must get your ads or your follow up letters or both out daily. If you wait for someone to find you, you are going to make no sales. If you want to see this short sentence in your email "You have just made a sale" then advertise like your life depended on it. I would love feedback from readers, if you know of a way I can make sales without posting ads everyday, I would love to know what it is.

Does The Internet Make Liars Of Us? I see all these outlandish ads in newsletters, including my own, and I wonder what ever made this person put out such an ad. You know the ads I am referring to. They go something like this. I made $500.000 dollars in only six months using this formula. Now I don't know about you, but I intend to get over to that site and sign up. HA! HA! You will also see some like this, I was broke a month ago. . .
