The Strategy of good promoting

About three months ago I started a new method of promoting my website. My Alexa ranking at that point was in the mid 300,000's as you remember.

Today it is in the very low 80,000's. This has been done just by doing a few simple steps everyday for an hour.

This is when I use my packaged tools to send my advertisements to link sites, classifieds, directories and the like.

I have two FFA sites, one that I use an auto responder only and the other where I go in daily and write in a new message to go out to those that post. Remember, these are not my own FFA sites (that is a private domain connected one) but ones that I am an affiliated network member.

These networks give me the ability to have very strong links on my site's free resources page, which as part of my domain, reflect upon it also. You will not see these long drawn out url's on my site but 'hyper links' to them. Even so, I promote the page where you will find those links, not the links themselves.

Twice a week I may spend up to two hours promoting. This is when I use not only my packaged tools but also go to targeted safe lists. I have this list of safe list on another page and even submit it to the search engines on occasion, along with a link to it, and my FFA sites on my 'site map', letting the spiders find them there also.

One of the reasons is takes me so long is that I am a slow typist and find myself re-writing my content a couple of times before I hit the 'submit' button.

That is all I do on the 'Traffic' side of my promotions.

What about the search engine side?

I still submit my site pages to them but now only when I make major content changes, the exception is when I have a newly created page. Not only does my package of tools I mentioned earlier have it's own search engine submitter, I have a couple of other search engine submitters listed on a site page. So, when I have a new page to get on the net, I can start the process in a few minutes by having all my submission programs in one location for ease of access.

I even submit that page on occasion and all the other people that have bookmarked it and use the tools there generate traffic both ways for me. The first is by their entering the site ( a hit ), going to the page ( a page view) and using the tool ( a session ). As they use the tool, this is the outward bound traffic they create for me.

Does it stop there?

By all means NO. You see, these tools are affiliate's of mine also. In case a visiting user really likes it and wants to use an up grade option, then I make income on the up grade as a referral.

Of course the links to search engines are not, but are there so the engines can see links to themselves on my domain also when their spiders check out my domain.

The strategy is this: inbound links to page>l< outbound links from page AND every page has links to my domain main>l When I promote, I can promote either and still be promoting the other.

The more pages I have the better.
