Making People SmileHi Internet,I just wanted to share a smile with you today. :) I just got done reading chapter 14 of an awesome book called "Today is Your Day to Win" by Mike Brescia. In the beginning of the chapter Mike asks you to ask yourself, (Who Can I Make Smile Right Now)? At the end of this article, I will tell you how you can get a Free copy of this awesome book. Have you ever thought about the benefits produced, for both you and others, through the act of making people smile? It can have an amazing effect on your physical state, as well as, your mental attitude. Think about a time when you were feeling a little down, or simply in a ho hum mood. Then all of a sudden you find yourself in the presence of someone who is very upbeat, with a hugh smile on their face; and they're just radiating a warm pleasantness. Were you able to stay feeling down or ho hum? Did you not find that very warm and sincere smile contagious? Of course you did! Smiles, that is, real smiles are probably more contagious then the flu. :) The difference is they make you feel a whole lot better and don't make your head ache or nose run. In Mike's book, he challenges you to sit down and make yourself smile for 60 seconds. Go ahead and try it. Yes, right now; get ready, get set, GO. Okay, keep smiling, don't quit, come on, come on; keep it up, you can do it. Now, while you are smiling, what kind of thoughts are going through your head? Are you thinking about sad things, or are you thinking about happy things. It is nearly impossible to think sad and unproductive thoughts while you have a big smile plastered across your face. I challenge you to find anyone who is truly successful in life, that is not a happy person who smiles a lot. You won't find them. Oh, you can find people who make a lot of money and are miserable, but they are not people who are successful in life, only in making money. Does anyone really believe success is just about the money? :( Let's try an experiment. As soon as you're done reading this, go to your spouse, child, parent, friend or co-worker; and with a big smile on your face, tell them something that you really like or appreciate about them. If there's no one around, call someone on the phone and do it. I can guarantee that you will not be able to stop the smile that is produced on either of your faces. Smiles are contagious, and when you share them with others, you are both made happier and better by the experience. In this often hectic and busy world we live in, it is easy to get caught up in the stresses and frustration of life. But, you can make it better. So, I want to challenge you, like Mike Brescia in his book "Today is Your Day to Win" challenged me. Make it a goal to make someone smile every day. You do this, and I can virtually guarantee that it will improve your life in ways you never thought possible. As promised, I will now tell you how you can get a free copy of Mike Brescia's book "Today Is Your Day To Win". Are you smiling? Cus if you're not, I'm not going to tell you! by David DeFord Have you noticed how a plastic grocery bag acts by the side of the road? The wind from passing cars tosses it into the air according to the direction the car is traveling. The bag has no control; it travels by the external force of the air currents. It ends up where the wind determines. We need not be subject to the winds of external forces. We have the freedom to choose our des. . .
