Weight, Weight, Don't Tell Me

Do you feel like you are attached to your weight? Do you yell at yourself for overeating? Do you rationalize by saying, "Yes, but I LOVE to eat!"

Wouldn't you say that is a roadblock to slimming down?

Well, here is an exercise that might help.

Think of the most recent time you had a major roadblock in your ability to slim down.

Visualize this experience somewhere outside yourself. In other words, visualize this experience to your left or right, whichever direction you think your past is.

Look at it. Now, put your chin over your shoulder in its direction. Breathe in deeply and slowly as you move your head from there to the other side. Your chin will now be over your other shoulder. Breathe out.

Now, breathe in deeply and slowly as you move your head to the other side again. Your chin will be back where it was when you started. Breathe out.

As you breath out, visualize the suction cup(s), hook(s), or whatever, the places where your energy connects with that experience, leaving your body. Feel the them disconnecting themselves. Your conscious, and unconscious, mind can have fun giving them a color, a shape, a size, and a texture. You might even hear a *plunk* as they leave your body. You might even feel a shift?

As you breath in, visualize the energy that you have attached to the problem being drawn back into your body, releasing the hold you had on it. Let your unconscious have fun with it again, giving the activity a color, a shape, a size, and a texture. Feel the shift?

As you breathe out, magnify the feelings of release and forgiveness.

As you breathe in, magnify the feelings of acceptance and power.

Keep doing this until you have actually disconnected to the experience completely.

Network Monitoring for Serious eCommercer By David Leonhardt In the real world, businesses come in every size, from self-employed entrepreneurs like me to mega malls like Wal-Mart. On the Internet, companies come in every size, too, from a stand-alone ebook sales page with webmaster and owner all in one, to 300 pound gorilla like Amazon, with over a million pages, who requires the entire pop. . .

What Exactly Is Adult Content? Google Forces Ning Onto A Slippery Slope. (TechCrunch)
On Tuesday Ning changed its long standing policy on allowing networks that show pornography and adult material. "Adult social networks don’t pull their own weight," Ning CEO Gina Bianchini said , and "our ad partners aren’t big fans of the adult networks." As far as I can tell, at this time Ning has only one advertising partner - Google. Google won't put adsense on sites that ...

Dear Dr. Brothers | I am friendly with a gal down the street who has three children and a husband and father living in her home. They are all obese and have a lifestyle that seems to glorify food and eating. The "baby" is a sweet boy of 9 who's quite overweight and doesn't seem to realize it. He comes to my house and asks me for cookies and cakes, and eats huge portions, then tells me this ...

Will Carroll: Stretch run tests players' pain threshholds (Sports Illustrated)
Some of you don't want to hear about steroids, performance-enhancing drugs, or the painkillers that remain the dirty little secret of the NFL. If you're one of those who tells me you "just want to watch the game," or "they're paid to play, no matter what," well, I'll get to the injuries and we'll discuss the StarCaps situation a bit later. It's important enough that I hope everyone reads to the ...
